Handle materials for the knife scales are from a variety of sources. New York Shed Antlers, in Watertown. Most of the woods come from Mad Scientist Knife Scales.

We are located in the town of Manlius, in Central New York.

A knife has at least one blade. When retracted, the blade is held in the handle with a steel spring, and enclosed by a metal liner. Generally, the handle is finished with a material that will hold up to everyday use. Traditional materials include various hardwoods, bone, stone and synthetics.
